Candidate Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the working environment and the job market in Bulgaria with view of employment of foreigners;

  • Knowledge of the services provided to refugees and stateless persons in Bulgaria;

  • Excellent communication skills;

  • Excellent office software skills such as Microsoft Office, Google forms as well as online communication platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet etc.);

  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment;

  • Accuracy and broad-mindedness, teamwork skills and ability to coordinate and support the work of other team members;

  • Analytical thinking, good time-management skills and responsibility;

  • Previous experience in job mediation and/or service mapping is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and contacting service providers to be included in the RefugeeLight.BG service map;

  • Identifying and contacting employer representatives to be included in the RefugeeLight.Bg employment platform;

  • Creating and engaging in networking opportunities in order to reach out to service providers and employers (e.g. by participating in meetings and events);

  • Updating the information on the Refugeelight.Bg platform, including the services map and the Refugee Employment Platform;

  • Updating the FAR database of service providers and employers who are open to hiring refugees;

  • Preparing and organising the signing of legal contracts with employers as required by the Bulgarian legislation by FAR as a registered employment intermediary;

  • Regular reporting of activities.

Terms and conditions of employment –labour contract with a commitment corresponding to part-time work (4 hours) with flexible working hours. Opportunity to increase the workload to full-time employment.
