The Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR is looking for a case manager with Arabic on cases of stateless persons to join its team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in Arabic.
• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in Bulgarian or English.
• Experience in translation and interpretation from/into Arabic.
• Excellent communication skills and ability for community engagement with refugees, migrants and stateless persons;.
• Knowledge of the working environment, refugee communities and stakeholders in Bulgaria; 
• Ability to identify and understand stateless persons’ needs;
• Respect for human rights, professional boundaries and ethics;
• Good Internet, social media and office software skills such as Microsoft Office, Google forms, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
• Experience in the migration, refugee and statelessness field in Bulgaria.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and using opportunities to engage migrant and refugee communities in Bulgaria, especially Arabic speakers, and informing them about FAR's legal aid activities, the possibility of finding employment through FAR's employment platform, and service providers through the Refugeelight.bg service map.
• Identifying and referring stateless persons for legal aid, especially Arabic speaking persons, and assisting in the two-way communication with them;
• Submitting documents at institutions and accompanying Arabic speaking persons for social mediation
• Conducting on-site visits and information sessions.
• Assisting the FAR staff in the communication with Arabic beneficiaries;
• Regular reporting on the activities.

Terms and conditions of employment – labor contract with a commitment corresponding to part-time work (4 hours) with flexible working hours.

Remuneration – 916 BGN gross with a possibility for increase upon undertaking additional tasks
